The product elife700 is a biphasic Monitor/Defibrillator, which is used for enhanced monitoring and resuscitation functions. The device integrates wide-screen displaying ECG signal, monitoring parameters, information and user guide messages. A visualization of 4.5 seconds is allowed for patients ECG by the monitoring function (9 in cascaded mode), is collected via 3, 5 and 10 lead patient cable, reusable external paddles or multifunction disposable electrodes. It has a user-configured high-resolution thermal recorder, which helps in printing waveforms and notes corresponding to the utilization. It can be operated by NiMH rechargeable batteries and can be connected to AC mains supply or to that of a car battery. The remaining battery capacity is shown at the top of the screen. When connected to external power supply like AC mains or car battery , the battery gets charged with the help of internal charger, independent of whether the device is switched on or off. Numerous self tests are carried out at start up and at the time of utilization so that any malfunction is detected.
