Designed for fixing the wrists in the vent of stable fractures and distortions post surgery or during the initial fixation with plaster of Paris or gypsum, this wrist band renders treatment of the tendo vaginitis without using the thumb. It also provides fixation of sympathetic dystrophy and helps with post surgery rehabilitation. The splint is to be be used by first shaping it to fit the affected forearm and wrist. Place the forearm with the ulnar side into the splint and then adjust it to fit the forearm and wrist by gently applying pressure. Lastly, secure the bandages between the thumb and the index finger and the forearm and wrist.
