The Spectrum Real Time 96 is second generation platform, made by Esco. Three years in the making, this device is a quantitative real-time PCR but with new technological features. Containing a far more advanced detection system than it's predecessors, the Swift Spectrum Real Time 96 is flexible, efficient and reliable. For a better heating and cooling rate as well as temperature accuracy and stability, the machine contains a customized Peltier. An X-Y scan system is also present. With a capacity of 96 samples, this machine has a scanning time of 5.5 seconds. It also has a dual-color scanning feature and an open platform on up to 8 multiple channels.
