This cleanroom ceiling grid measures a standard 2' x 4' (0.6 x 1.2m) to enable the placement of fan filter units. Empty bays are covered with non particulate shedding phenolic resin panels and contain reinforced, fully welded, steel tubular sections. The device has Isostat vinyl curtains, which do not touch the floor, to help isolate the cleanroom yet facilitate easy access to the room. Four stainless steel casters with nonshedding polyurethane wheels are located at the device's base and can hold up to 300 pounds. An abrasion resistant powder coat is oven-baked on the structure. An instant start, zero-flicker, 5000k lighting system produces a warm white shade and is electronically ballasted. This system reduces operator fatigue and illuminates the cleanroom. Laminar flow is not hampered by the device's teardrop design.
