It is with great gratitude and excitement that we welcome you to join us on the successful journey of one of the biggest Emergency Physicians gathering in UAE, the Emirates Society Emergency Medicine Conference 2023 - ESEM23, to be held from 6-9 December 2023 at Abu Dhabi, the capital city of United Arab Emirates.

ESEM23 will present the highlight of the conference -Plenary sessions on three days along with the parallel sessions. We witnessed last year the overwhelming interest among researchers in becoming a part of the abstract submission, and with our strong belief in the importance of research in EM, especially in our region, the facilitation of abstract submissions will be evaluated by the Abstract Review Committee, and the best abstracts will be selected for oral or poster presentation during the conference.

Terms & Conditions

Registration fees entitles participants to attend all sessions and CME certificates.
For administrative and preparatory reasons, online registration is possible until 5 Dec 2023 (GMT+ 4). From this date onwards, we advise you to register and pay the fees.
Applicable onsite registration fees, during conference registration hours, commencing on 6 – 9 Dec 2023.
5% VAT charges will be applicable on all mentioned rates.
Registrations are confirmed only upon payment receipt.
Registration fees apply as per the date of payment.
If the payment is made within 10 days prior to the event date, a proof of payment or a credit card/letter of guarantee will be required to avail the late registration rate.
Should your payment not be received 10 days prior to the event date, the Event Organizer reserves the right to cancel your pre-registration, you can make your registration onsite with the applicable rate.

Emergency Department Quality Improvement Professional (EQUIP) Certification Course

Course Description

The Emergency Department Quality Improvement Professional (EQuIP) Certification Course is a 3-day intensive professional development course, with optional certification exam, for emergency medicine clinicians delivered by the Department of Emergency Medicine at Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC). Our December 2023 course will be held in collaboration with the Emirates Society of Emergency Medicine and their 2023 ESEM conference.

Course Objectives

Our hope is that this course will provide valuable and specific clinical and quality assurance knowledge and skills to practicing emergency physicians and nurse leaders. Additionally, this course will impart participants with a shared understanding of the necessity for practicing emergency clinicians to adhere to agreed-upon standards in clinical quality and encourage hospital-wide acceptance of the importance of tracking quality metrics within the ED and throughout the hospital

Methodology

Our course includes 21 hours of case studies, presentations, and interactive, hands-on workshops to provide participants with valuable clinical knowledge and quality process skills, which will allow them to pass the final certification exam and become a part of a community of like-minded attending physicians dedicated to emergency department clinical quality improvement.
