Designed for implant detection and initialization, the rate profile is enabled after the completion of the 30 minute detection period. Sensing and pacing polarities are automatically selected by the instrument, and ventricular and atrial output management is enabled. this is when pulse width starts to adapt, resulting in reduced VP, which is enabled approximately an hour after the process of implant detection is completed.
