This SX-ELLA stent has been designed for both fluoroscopic and endoscopic insertion. The stent is self-expandable and made from braided nitinol. The stent has been created for use in patients who need temporary of permanent treatment of strictures that affect the rectum, sigmoid or descending and transverse colon. It has been designed for use in patients with colorectal or colovesical fistulas. This stent is not for use in patients who has bowel performation, sever ascites, peritoneal abscess, severe coagulopathy or enteral ischemia.
