The course contents correspond to the continuing education guidelines of the regional medical associations: 80 hours course further education according to §4 Abs. 8 in general and special emergency treatment.
The course is recognised by the Medical Association of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and is accordingly recognised by the other regional medical associations. For participation, 80 continuing education credits are credited. The basis of our course are the current international guidelines and algorithms.
The focus of the training content is the management of emergency situations, increasing patient safety and addressing the influence of "human factors" in patient care under realistic conditions. A special focus is on the field of practice. To ensure this, the group size is limited, each participant is given sufficient time for practical training. The formal basis of our course is the sample course book Emergency Medicine (as of: 20.01.2006, revised 17.01.)
