RhinoCeros measures air pressure and rate of airflow in the nasal airway giving you an objective measurement of the patients' nasal patency. It also helps determine the presence and amount of nasal obstruction, nasal pressure and flow relationships. It provides you with a calculation of nasal resistance which is conducted by measuring the flow through the nose and also the pressure of force required to cause the airflow. RhinoCeros has the capability to accurately measure and assess nasal blockage and difficulty in breathing due to other reasons, it also measures nasal blockage at normal breathing.
