The HemoCue Plasma/Low Hb Photometer is utilized to measure sample materials of plasma, serum or aqueous solutions. With a measurement range of 0-30.0 g/L (0-3.00 g/dL, 0-3000 mg/dL and 0-1.90 mmol/L), it provides results in about 60 seconds. It has a sample volume of 20 µL and operates at temperatures ranging from 15-40 °C (59-104 °F). It has a weight of 1 kg (2 pounds) including the installed batteries. It can run on either batteries or AC adaptor. As a quality control, it is recommended to run two levels of liquid control on the day of use, or as stipulated by local policy or accrediting agencies.
