The HemoCue® Hb 201 DM Analyzer has a built-in "self test" that assures the results of each analysis done. The system can be verified using liquid controls. Using the device, the result of the analysis can be produced in about 60 seconds with correlation of 0.99 when compared to the reference method (ICSH method). The HemoCue® Hb 201 DM Analyzer has an operating temperature of 15-30 °C (59-86 °F) and has a measurement range of 0-25.6 g/dL (0-256 g/L or 0-15.9 mmol/L). Furthermore, the product weighs 350 g (0.77 pounds) with batteries installed and can be stored at temperature 0-50 °C (32-122 °F). The analyzers are calibrated at the factory against the ICSH reference method and needs no further calibration. It also has a docking station with dimensions of 135 x 206 x 61 mm (5.30 x 8.10 x 2.40 inches) that weighs 566 g (1.24 pounds).
