The inomed Micro Move IMM, used during interventions in functional neurosurgery, is a combined electrode for a precise electrophysiological localisation of an anatomical target point. It has a moveable micro tip designed for single cell recording with a very high signal to noise ratio and it is used to guarantees the smallest possible displacement of tissue. Its dimensions include - a shaft with an outer diameter of only 0.6 mm and the wire of the micro tip with a diameter of only 0.28 mm. The electrode, delivered sterile, has an impedance of about 1 MOhm to use with the most common recording systems.
