The Vacuklav 43-B stand-alone autoclave has a water storage tank built in so no tap water connection is needed. It has a 45cm, 22 liter chamber depth, satisfies the Class B autoclave requirements of European standard EN 13060, and has a fractionated pre-vacuum. Its high-performance electrical vacuum pump creates a deep vacuum, and there is optimal drying of wrapped materials, porous goods, and wrapped textiles due to the deep post vacuum. You can connect the autoclave using the MELAdem 40 or MELAdem 47 water treatment system to a source of water and drain as well. The device has fast speeds, with it taking approximately 25 minutes to sterilize 5kg of wrapped instruments, including drying time. This is 50% less time when compared with other autoclaves that are Class B. You can also sterilize instruments needed with short notice in as little as 10 minutes.
