The Siltex Practika B20 autoclave is a somewhat unusual autoclave unit in that is can be converted from a Type S sterilizer to a Type B sterilizer at the touch of a button. This highly practical unit is loaded with features. Its sterilizing and drying cycles are fully programmable and include both pre-vacuum and post-vacuum cycles for maximum efficiency in both sterilizing and drying. The unit has its own clean and waste water tanks along with a dump tank. Also featured is a vacuum test cycle and a Bowie-Dick test cycle. The Practika B20 has a chamber capacity of 20 liters. The sterilizing chamber temperatures can be set to either 121 or 134 degrees Celsius. The unit comes with a circular rack system and four trays, plus two wire racks. An SD card reader has been incorporated into the unit and a printer option is available.
