The Integra™ Horizontal-Vertical (H-V) Lumbar Valve System is the only differential pressure valve for lumbo-peritoneal shunting which addresses hydrostatic overdrainage. Spring-actuated inlet valve controls lower pressure range while the patient is in the horizontal position. A gravity-actuated outlet valve controls the higher-pressure range while the patient is in vertical position.
