There are two working modes - spot check and continuous monitoring. It is mounted with adjustable audio and visual alarms. Infrared technology is used to transfer data on a real time basis. It has slot for batteries and this ensures support up to 36 hours. Portable needs are taken care of as it comes with a protective cover and a carrying case. Optional kits are available - data management kit, battery charging kit and pole mounting kit.
