These single-use upper gastrointestinal manometry catheters by Medi-Plus are available either as single channel, four channel, or eight channel variants. The outer diameters of these catheters are available in four different diameters, ranging from 2.3 mm to 4.9 mm and are also available in several perfusion port configurations. These multi-lumen catheters have radio opaque markers at every perfusion port and black line markers every centimeter along the length of the individual transparent tubes to the catheter tip. The ports are numbered and color coded and an opening is provided for inserting guidewires into the tubing. The use of multi-channel catheter systems enables a greater range of measurements to be made and their single-use feature minimizes the chances of cross-infection. Each catheter features a winged luer lock to secure it to the transducer.
