Biotronik Passeo-18 angioplasty catheter is used for the treatment of lesions in the femoropopliteal segment up to 170mm in length. Its hydrophobic patchwork coated balloon ensures a smooth crossing through tortuous vessels and across high grade stenosis while minimizing the risk of slippage during inflation experienced when using hydrophilic coated balloons. Passeo-18 offers a high degree of kink resistance and low friction with its coaxial shaft design with hydrophobic coating. It has a puncture resistant balloon material (SCP) which provides a high RBP to facilitate dilatation of even the most calcified lesions. Its Pentafold technology allows a safer and easier pullback.
