The aspiration or vacuum method can be used by the S-Monovette® blood collection system to collect blood based on patient needs or the condition of their veins. Its gentle aspiration method is useful in tough blood collection situations frequently encountered in oncology, pediatrics, and geriatrics when there are difficult vein conditions. The S-Monovette® eliminates the need for disposable syringes normally used in these situations, avoiding the risk of injuries from needle sticks. The S-Monovette® tubes are made of plastic and come with screw caps, including those versions offered for coagulation.
