Variations of tissue thickness have been observed in patients GI tracts. For this reason the circular staplers enables clinicians to regulate staple height to adapt to tissue that ranges in thickness of 1.0mm and 2.5 mm in thickness. The Intraluminal Stapler comes with an Indicator for Tissue Compression, this measures compression of tissue and thickness at certain points. Once application takes place, staplers will give the right amount of compression which will creates anastomosis. As firing takes place the adjustable height staples and controlled tissue compression allows for the creation of homogeneous staple configuration at the relevant staple height. After completion the formed staples will continue to provide compression which encourages healing and provides leak free anastomosis.
