The CPS Luminary bideflectable catheter with lumen is a device used for cannulation and subselection. The CPS Luminary catheter with lumen has 2 deflectable curves. The large deflection facilitates coronary sinus cannulation while the small deflection is used in the subselection of the target vein. The catheter with lumen is compatible with other St. Jude Medical™ Cardiac Positioning System (CPS™) products. It has an ergonomic handle that locks automatically, providing outstanding deflection control. It also has a soft tip that does not cause trauma. The tip has bipolar mapping electrodes that confirms CS entry although this needs a Bipolar Extension Cable which is sold separately. To cater different HF patient anatomies, it is available in large and extra large curl models. Its 7 F outer diameter makes it compatible with other outer guide catheters from St. Jude Medical including CPS Direct™ SL and Apeel™ CS Plus.
