The Therapy Cool Path Duo Bi-directional Ablation Catheter has a high performance shaft which offers increased torque response and superior control of the catheter. The bi-directional catheter benefits from proximal and distal irrigation ports. These provide even cooling across the tip. The bi-directional deflection gives increased maneuverability enabling challenging anatomic locations to be reached when complex procedures are being carried out. The overall tip temperature is reduced by uniform cooling, and the temperature of the proximal area of the electrode is reduced by way of supplemental irrigation ports. Fewer cases of charring and coagulation are achieved due to the duo tip design which has 12 distal and proximal irrigation ports.
