The Inquiry Optima Diagnostic Catheter gives precise electrode positioning with the ability to change the diameter of the loop. Available in 4F or 5F, the loop can be steered into a prime position for simultaneous recording of electrograms. A multi-directional 7F shaft, available in 10- or 20-pole models, aids the ability to push and steer the catheter in order to carry out the atrial mapping. For increased torque, a braided extension can be used and this will ensure that the 2 mm distal tip will be accurately located for optimum mapping. The flexible loop and distal tip with a deflection of 180 degrees allow for increased mapping with precision.
