The IBI-1500T9-CP Cardiac Ablation Generator has the ability to automatically distinguish between irrigated and non-irrigated ablation catheters provided by St Jude Medical, and can adjust the parameter levels accordingly. The device can deliver up to 100 watts of power for controlled ablation procedures, and it is temperature controlled in order to regulate this power delivery. The unit can be joined with the Cool Point Irrigation Pump to form a fully integrated ablation system. A single flow rate is used for irrigation during RF, which is independent of the power settings. If the pump experiences an error, RF is automatically stopped by a generator.
