The Tumark Flex is used to make a breast biopsy site after the removal of tissue with the vacuum biopsy system ATEC. Easy introduction into the ATEC biopsy needle and comfortable handling is achieved to the design and construction of the Tumark Flow. The 3D marker design enables firm anchorage in the tissue. Optimum visibility can be gained of the marker under ultrasound, mammography and MRI. The marker is approved as an implantable material and is supplied as preloaded. The Tumark Flex for ATEC advantages include an adapter which enables easy introduction into the biopsy needle. The marks enable perfect orientation of the needle. The distal ramp is specially designed to guarantee the placement of the marker at the target position. The handle has been ergonomically designed and has a lateral trigger. An additional seal is available for a sample chamber.
