The Centrel Z4 Colposcope raises the quality of gynecological diagnostics to a new level. Powered by an LED lighting system that produces the equivalent of 170W of conventional halogen lighting, the system generates no appreciable heat, features low power consumption, high electrical efficiency, and increased illumination, and also features superior reliability. The individual LEDs have a lifetime on the order of 45,000 hours. Examinations can be carried out under white, rather than yellow light, as the illumination spectrum is comparable to that of sunlight. The unit provides stereo images, a 1:6.5 zoom ratio, and bilateral micro-metric fine focusing features. The colposcope operates at a standard working distance of 300 mm. A 250 mm working distance capability is available as an option.
