The Erba XL 300 can put through 300 tests in an hour. It features a unique recalculation process that prevents tests being run twice. A Vertical Obstruction Detection (VOD) system is in place to protect probe needles from being damaged. It features a separate location for bio-hazardous waste to ensure it is safely disposed of. It can run an unlimited number of test programs and profiles and can run any number of calculations. It has twelve wavelengths that range from 340 to 750 hm with O.D. ranging from 0 to 3.5 abs. This systems allows you to use Latex Turbidimetric and Immuno Turbidimetric based methods. There is a float sensor based platfrom that contains alarms for D.I. water, waste containers and cleaning solutions.
