Important dates

Late April 2017 - Abstract results announcement. An email will be sent to each submitter

26 May 2017 - Deadline to confirm presentation, presenter name and submit agreement form

31 May 2017 - Early registration deadline - All abstract presenters must register for the Congress

The registration fees include 21% Spanish VAT. Please read the General Conditions.

All fees are in Euros.

* Nurse & Medical Technician: A proof of status on official letterhead, both signed and stamped by your head of department will be requested during the registration process.

** Delegates aged 35 and under: A proof of age will be requested during the registration process.

*** Abstract Presenters aged 35 and under: A proof of age will be requested during the registration process. Please note that the fee 'Abstract Presenter aged 35 and under' will only be available during the Early and Late fee periods, and will no longer be available after the 31 July Late fee deadline. Note that this fee will only be available once the abstract results have been published (around 1 May).

Getting to Barcelona

By Air

Barcelona Airport, also known as El Prat, is the main airport serving Barcelona with around 100 operating companies. 

It is located 14 km south-west of the city centre and 12 km from the Congress venue: Fira Gran Via.

By Train

Barcelona has direct railway links with a number of important cities.

The city’s main railway station is Barcelona Sants Station and most long-distance trains stop here.

By Car

Barcelona is located 150 km from La Jonquera, the French border.

The French motorway network connects to the AP-7, N-II and C-32 
Barcelona motorway.   

You can enter the city via the ring roads or the Avinguda Meridiana, which leads to the centre.

By Bus/Boat

Long distance buses connect Barcelona with most European cities.  

The bus station in Barcelona, with most national and international connections, is Barcelona Nord Bus Station.

Barcelona has become the Mediterranean’s foremost cruise ship harbour and has connections with the main Mediterranean harbours.
