All of the final filtration devices are designed to provide final filtration and distribution of water to a dialysis floor. The different types of final filtration are: Spiral Wound 10,000 Molecular Weight Cut Off (MWCO) 4” X 40” Wall Mount Ultra Filters MD600 Series Dead End Sub-micron cartridge filtration. 0.05 Micron Absolute 0.03 Micron Absolute The MD600 Series Ultra Filter System (UFS) this system features 10,000 molecular weight cut-off membranes that rejects bacteria and endotoxins and eliminates them to drain as compared to submicron filtration that merely forms a barrier, retaining them on the filter surface. Each system is designed according to facility loop size to provide maximum velocity through the loop.
