The GenuTrain S Pro provides active support for lateral stabilization by utilizing adjustable joint splints. These lateral splints have adjustable hinges which, together with two inelastic straps on the lower and upper legs, enable the knee joint to be kept secure during movement. By setting these hinges in different ways, the splints can be used to restrict, flex and extend the angle of the leg. The restricted movement benefits the knee by protecting it during different phases of treatment and by helping to correct incorrect movements. During movement, the integrated elastic pressure cushion protects and supports the kneecap. A massage effect is generated during movement due to the compressing knit and distortion of the pad, which reduces swelling and relieves pain faster.
