The device finds application in fiber optic-guided placement of endotracheal or nasotracheal tubes. The device also serves as a substitute of endotracheal tubes and laryngeal mask airway through a fiberoptic bronchoscope. The device contains a rapi-fit adapter which enables 15 mm connections, jet, and ventilatory device in case of procedures. The catheter is based on through lumen design and contains distal sideports for an adequate flow of air. The catheter comes with a blunt tip to prevent internal injuries of tissues and structures. The centimeter marks helps for accurate placements using shortened endotracheal tubes.
