Manufactured by l'can, the Unigamma PLUS is a fan beam bone densitometer having a 5 channel architecture that permits reduced scan times with a better image resolution. This newest multi-detector has a small fan-beam configuration which minimizes the geometrical distortion on entire body scans. Using only the central channel, it is possible to use the unit in a pencil beam mode for special applications.
