TissueSAFE High vacuum biospecimen transfer system is a useful tool in a safe transfer of tissue from the surgical suite to the pathology lab in the process of eliminating carcinogenic substance from work environments. The product eliminates formalin from surgery suites. It also monitors tissue temperature during transfer to deliver fresh tissues to laboratory. A Radio Frequency Identification Device (RFID) is placed into the transfer box to continuously monitor and document tissue temperature from the surgery suite to the histology lab. Fixation can now start under controlled conditions in the laboratory.
