These work hooks can be used in a variety of ways because of their canted tynes. The different openings between the fingers assist in better fitting agricultural tools with varying diameters. The serrated fingers of the work hooks give a more secure holding surface and distal tab for accurate grasp. The distal tab on the 7, 7LO and 6 models has a nail slot to hold a wire or nails, and has an extenstion intended to hold knives. The guard's square cutout is ideal to hold tools with square shanks, such as a screwdriver. The Model 6 Work Hook also has a back lock capability which prevents accidental opening.
