The Prismaflo® II blood warmer heats return blood and causes no increase in the extracorporeal blood volume. No additional fluids or disposables are needed and return blood can be warmed during Prismaflex treatments. The system also reduces expenses and setup time. The electrical heating profile is used here on the CRRT fliter set. The return line of the Prismaflex system is inserted into the groove of the heating profile and the return blood is kept warm as it r- enters the patient. the self testa ns the temperatures can be monitored by the digital interface and sensors monitor the heating profile temperatire so that the patients can be safely treated.
