The Ultima CPX is a system that simplifies metabolic stress testing without compromising accuracy. It is designed to analyze a patient’s cardio-respiratory system and functional capacity with a breath-by-breath metabolic process. Since the system interfaces with external devices, it offers flexibility with its testing and monitoring processes. Fast patient throughput is achieved thanks to features such as automatic gas calibration. If you require additional testing capabilities, this machine is capable of delivering with Fick cardiac output and spirometry as well as a number of optional software applications. The calibration process is easy; it requires only one automated gas calibration prior to each test and one flow calibration per day. The PreVent flow sensor can be discarded between each patient or cleaned. It meets all ATS and ERS requirements with its accuracy.
