Holter monitors have been around for a very long time and they are quite efficient in long-term ECG monitoring and through it, arrhythmia detection. Any change in the ECG morphology and it will be immediately detected. There is an ECG evaluation software integrated into the monitor and it is capable of reviewing heart beat morphology, the pace of the beat, presence of flutter, Atrial fibrilation and threat of other arrhythmias. Another feature of the device is its 3/7/12-channel ECG recording. The excellent signal quality of the device is good for pacemaker detection and analysis.
