Share the Vision
Join the Canadian Association of Radiologists in Montreal for its 83rd Annual Scientific Meeting, taking place from April 16 to 19, at Le Westin Montreal, Quebec. Renowned for its scientific and educational content, this four-day conference is the premier Canadian radiology event of the year. Come interact and learn with the people shaping our industry. Network with colleagues from across Canada and make connections with international experts in medical imaging

CAR 2020 is thrilled to welcome the European Society of Radiology (ESR) to its annual scientific meeting. ESR meets Canada will feature international speakers addressing key issues regarding emergency, cancer and cardiac imaging.

The Scientific Planning Committee has developed a dynamic program focused on disseminating techniques based on whole-body imaging, evidence-based medicine and best practice, subjects deemed to be of special interest by Canadian radiologists at past meetings. The comprehensive event program, themed Share the Vision, will address current key issues that affect radiologists and radiologists-in-training and features balanced content which will be relevant and useful for both community radiologists and those in academic practice environments.

CAR 2020 offers a robust mix of didactic lectures, debates and hands-on workshops and provides a variety of ways to enhance every participant’s learning experience.

Needs Assessment
This program was developed following a review of objective data including practice data, consultation with experts in the field, and the experience and needs perceived by members of the scientific planning committee. Additionally, a historical review and analysis of educational content covered in past five annual scientific meetings, as well as subjective data from the previous year’s evaluations, was reviewed in detail to create a focus for this year’s program.

Target Audience
This conference is designed for all general and subspecialty radiologists as well as radiology residents and fellows whose work involves performing or interpreting images, determining appropriateness and using advanced equipment and tools to help guide therapeutic decision-making and help improve clinical outcomes.
