Fully-featured ICU ventilation for military patient transports under the world’s toughest conditions

Specially modified for military compliance to meet the highest demands in the most challenging environments worldwide, Hamilton Medical’s transport ventilator is now available for use by armed forces to safely accompany critical care patients in the air, on land, and at sea.

After successfully passing the tests, the HAMILTON-T1 was issued with a NATO stock number (NSN 6515-01-648-5814) and is now officially available in the US military ECAT catalog.

Under the toughest conditions

The HAMILTON-T1 can operate in temperatures from -15ºC to +50ºC, tolerates humidity levels from 5% to 95%, can be used at altitudes of up to 25’000 ft., and is able to withstand blowing dust or pouring rain (IP24 ingress protection).

The ruggedized housing offers impact protection and a shock-resistant, anti-reflective display, making the HAMILTON-T1 a tough and reliable companion in the field.

ICU performance for more patient safety

The HAMILTON-T1 offers all the conventional and advanced ventilation modes and monitoring features expected from a high-end ICU ventilator at the bedside. To ensure safe and lung-protective ventilation even under challenging circumstances, the Intelligent Ventilation mode ASV® (Adaptive Support Ventilation) constantly adapts automatically to the patient’s condition to keep the patient within defined target ranges.

Standard ventilator settings can be stored in up to three quick start-up scenarios to comply with military standard operating procedures and clinical practice guidelines. This ensures standardized ventilator care, improves patient safety, and simplifies ventilator management even for non-expert medical personnel.

Special features for armed forces

Thanks to the night vision option, the HAMILTON-T1 can safely be used in the dark without interfering with night vision devices. An optional NBC filter adapter provides a NATO standard thread for attaching a standard NBC filter canister.

The standardized transport and storage case for the HAMILTON-T1 is lightweight but unbreakable, and keeps the HAMILTON-T1 in pristine condition even in the most punishing environments.
