Patient–ventilator asynchrony (PVA) is a common problem when patients undergo invasive mechanical ventilation (MV) in the intensive care unit (ICU). This may accelerate lung injury and diaphragm mis-contraction.

During this 90 minutes webinar, our expert speakers from Hiroshima University Hospital, will present the results of their systematic review and meta-analysis, published in 2021. Participants will receive information on how PVA can have an impact on clinical outcomes and discuss available solutions to improve PVA.
