The 48th Joint Annual Meeting of the German Society for Medical Intensive Care and Emergency Medicine and the Austrian Society for Medical and General Intensive Care and Emergency Medicine found in 2016 again in Berlin.
Under the motto "Man - a demanding work" you are in Berlin interesting and practice-oriented program find that we design together with the sections of our professional society and our colleagues of Austrian society.

The focus is on the critically ill patient who can be treated successfully only jointly by responsible physicians, highly motivated nurses in collaboration with physiotherapists and counselors.

Topics include preclinical and clinical emergency medicine, which includes operations in the interdisciplinary emergency department, the hospital hygiene and clinical infectious diseases in the context of the Infection Protection Act and the cardiovascular intensive care.
