The theme of the 2015 programme is ‘Hearts and Genes’, and we are delighted to announce that Professor Robert Winston will be giving this year’s Opening Ceremony Keynote Speech, entitled “Where are we going with molecular medicine?" This will be followed by a new-style BHF “gene-to-bedside” session focusing on Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (facilitated by Professor Hugh Watkins) and BHF/UKGTN sessions on the new gene panels for diagnosis of inherited cardiovascular disease.
