The Autosuture™ Division offers a complete line of surgical products and instrumentation that surgeons utilize for laparoscopic, endoscopic and traditional open surgical procedures, and lymphatic mapping. The division features the original surgical stapling instruments which were first introduced in 1967 as part of the Autosuture™ Company.

At that time Autosuture™ was a division of United States Surgical Corporation™, prior to Tyco Healthcare's acquisition in 1998.
