X-ray protective screens are manufactured from solid sheet material sandwiching a lead core to a specified thickness and faced with a plastic laminate to both sides, framed in durable satin anodized aluminium. Unique to our screen design is our specially developed and produced ‘rounded’ aluminium frame, giving a tactile and hygienic finish thus meeting our customers needs and desires whilst incorporating stylish, modern, slim line aesthetics. Every Raybloc screen is custom built and can be specified to any dimension incorporating lead thicknesses between 1 and 3.5mm as determined by a Radiation Protection Advisor. Screen designs can be straight, multiple winged, hinged, free standing or wall mounted. Lead glass vision panels are incorporated within the screens, allowing a wide clear uninterrupted operator view into the x-ray room. With a single sheet up to 2400 x 1100mm, Raybloc glass surpasses the average dimensions offering much more versatility. Screens are laminated using an array of manufacturers colours to compliment surrounding décor. All Raybloc x-ray protective screens are manufactured to comply with MEIGaN 2 (Medical Electrical Guidance Notes). Once manufactured screens can be promptly delivered and installed by our experience fitting team or supplied for installation by others. To accompany our x-ray screens, we offer furniture including work surfaces, cassette storage racks, shelves, cupboard and drawer units. All built to high standards in a variety of finishes.
