X-ray protective door sets are purpose built by Raybloc to suit any size of structural opening and to suit any radiation or medical environment. Lead lined doors are available in paint grade, real wood veneer or plastic laminate finish, all lipped in hardwood showing no exposed lead. Frames are manufactured from hardwood with a lead core for maximum x-ray protection, including Walnut, Koto, Ash, Mahogany, Oak, Beech, Sapele or Maple. X-ray protective door sets are supplied pre-hung and are complete with stainless steel high load lift off hinges. Other furniture can be specified and fitted at time of manufacture if required. Door sets can be specified with x-ray protection lead equivalences ranging from 1mm to 3.5mm as determined by a Radiation Protection Advisor. X-ray glass observation windows or ‘vistamatics’ can also be fitted to our doors at time of manufacture and designed to suit customer needs while always achieving maximum radiation protection.
