The traditional absorption chiller and a vapor compression chiller share a similar refrigeration cycle, given that both deliver chilled water through the condensation and evaporation stages of the refrigerant in the machine. The difference however is that a traditional chiller makes this possible with mechanical technology, which includes transportation and compression of the refrigerant vapor until it reached the condenser, while and absorption chiller rely's on a chemical thermal process that uses lithium bromide combined with water to establish the difference in pressure due to mechanical compression. These absorption chillers are an ideal choice for office buildings, universities, hospitals ans well as the manufacturing sector.
