The VAZ 1300 is a medium-duty single-shaft shredder. Its standard version is available in two sizes: S and M. It has different rotor designs and geometries that allow it to shred paper, wood, solid plastics, data storage media, plastic film, packaging, industrial waste, and many others. The machine can be fitted with a bridge-breaker, which is optional. Doing so improves output whenever very light or bulky materials are shredded. In addition to its standard drive through asynchronous motor, another drive is available -- the patented HiTorc drive. This drive allows variable speed adjustment and minimizes power usage of up to 60% when compared to a standard drive system. In standard drive, the range for drive capacities is 37 to 90 kW. On the other hand, machines that have the HiTorc drive have a capacity of 62 kW. Output is anything between 400 and 2,500 kg/hours and it depends on the screen mesh as well as the version.
