Vecoplan has launched VAZ 2400 shredder with a special design. It comes with a 2.5 m long rotor and short ram stroke which can be utilized to cut up long, large sized wood waste (also pallets and chipboard) rapidly at relatively cheap price. It comes with the patented HiTorc drive along with the standard drive via asynchronous motor which enable it to obtain variable speed and curbs power consumption by up to 60% compared to the conventional drive system. The VAZ 2400 comes with a drive capacity of 75 or 90 kW with the standard drive and 62 kW with the HiTorc drive. The output can be in the range of 900 to 4,000 kg/h which is based on the version and screen mesh size of the system.
