Flat Sheets are designed to safely move and reposition individuals on beds or trolleys without the need to lift. Supplied in pairs they are available in a range of sizes, with or without handles and extension pull strap. The pull strap is used with the flat sheet and full length transfer board to transfer patients, while lying flat, from one surface such as their bed to another such as a theatre table or X-ray. The sheets are machine washable and quick drying and can be wiped clean with chlorine solution or a good quality sterilising liquid.They are not to be used as a lifting aid. All patient repositioning manoeuvres should be accomplished without lifting. Extension straps are available separately.
