Ideal for use on hospital wards and other care facilities the modular floor mats are designed to reduce the chance of injury when patients or residents fall from their bed. Designed by NHS staff and commissioned by NHS Innovations, each mat comes in two sections that can be joined together with velcro attachments. To minimise trip risks the mats have tapered edges. Made from a high density polyurethane foam, the mats have an anti-bacterial additive, making them easy to clean with a cleaning cloth.
